my friend has been raped and is now still being harrassed by him via phone and email. he has been spreading untruths about that truly happened and making friends to shield him from when the truth eventually surfaces.

his version of the events is as follows:
they went to junction 8 for a movie, after that she went to the toilet and just disappeared after that.
however, my friend's recollection is that after the movie, he wanted to make out and she suggested a more private place. in the toilet, he said that he wanted sex and forced himself on her, even after she protested and told him to stop. and after raping her, he told her that it wouldn't hurt the second time, implying that he wasn't going to leave things the way they were. he also told her the he hoped she knew whatshe was doing, as if she had been the one to initiate the sex.
he has accused her of lying and telling her friends (example, me and thesundaywriter) lies, and used vulgarities and slurs while doing so. he has been trying to intimidate her and scare her from letting other people know the truth. likely, the police.
it happened on the 22nd of december 2005, but she didn't dare report it then. she's currently concerned that she had to report it within 72 hours and that now her chance is gone. also, kevin is in the same course that she is in school and may try to make things even more difficult for her after. i'm still convinced that she should make a report, and am currently trying to persuade her. i'll speak to my mom, a lawyer, as well as i friend i know whom i think is serving his NS in the police force, to see what i can do.
