3 more days. 3 more days AND I WILL PREVAIL! >:3
i'm doing my in-service presentation on thursday, and i only just finalized my presentation topic yesterday. x.x
i'm doing my presentation on mastectomy (breast-removal surgery, usually done to treat breast cancer) and hopefully, i can find journal articles on the role of physiotherapy/efficacy/uses of physiotherapy in managing mastectomy patients.
anyway, i've done most of the medical and surgical bit today. i shall finish it up tomorrow, print out my speakers notes (gah, need to let my mom know the printer model--out of black ink) and go through it a few times.
hopefully, i have enough time for that last bit.
why mastectomy? i saw a patient on friday who had gone for one, and since i wasn't all that sure if i had to do my presentation based on a case study, or just anything i wanted, i decided to mix both. X3
and in recognition that the breast cancer ribbon is pink, my slides are pink-themed (i chose the 'kimono' design template in powerpoint...it was the only pink-themed one. :x oh well...)
note to self: look for a picture of the pink ribbon, to decorate my first slide. :3
lol, interesting, innit? the boob girl doing her presentation on boob surgery.
may i never have to lose my boob(s) to cancer. >< geh. *shudders and frantically touches anything wooden nearby*
anyway, off to sleep.
