Good Times
Yesterday Katie and I went to the beach all afternoon and it was wonderful!! It was the most beautiful day yet, which fit perfectly for the first day of summer. We got back around five and went to the farmer's market and then walked around downtown where I wound up buying this sweet pair of red heels, originally $45, on sale for $17. I have absolutely nothing to wear them with right now, but they are completely awesome. Then we decided we needed to get dressed up and go out on the town later. So we went to Target and got some fun, funky jewelry, got all sexified, and went back downtown for some drinks. Three drinks later, after stopping for a bite to eat and a fourth drink, I was completely toasted and we went home. Today turned out to be quite a waste, as I felt all the fun from last night, but we had a great time, and it's summer, so who cares?
Tomorrow I've got to work all day, pack up the car with all the stuff I'm sending home with my parents, finish packing for camp, go to bed, and wake up early to leave for Buffalo on Saturday! Wahoo!
