Ah, Mondays, how I love you so. Isn't it great, after a weekend of relaxing and sleeping and writing, to come to work where you're not treated the best, have mounds of stuff to do, and just...ack

The mere thought of having to wait a whole month for more of your wonderful Dean and John makes me wibble. *g* I'm content to enjoy what you post when you post it. WIP or not.
Awww, thanks. I was feeling a bit down because this most recent chapter didn't get as much feedback as the one before, and I thought, "Do they dislike the direction?" I constantly worry and such, but knowing that there's someone out there waiting for the next chapter helps. ;)
I like WIPs--it's nicer to have little bits occasionally than wait for ages for one big update. Not much different from waiting for books in a series, I think. :)
(Sorry about being incoherent. Got 2hrs of sleep. Coffee hasn't started working yet.)

WIP are the best. I try to keep up WIPping but I don't always have time to read it just when you post it (and I don't want to spoil your work by hurying trough it). So whenever I find a couple of hours time I read the two or three WIPs I missed. You can WIP and your readers have a choice to WIP along or to bunch up the WIPs into MIPs (month in progress) or even ChIPs (Chapter in Progress). The real patient people can of course wait out the whole lot and go for a BIF (Book is finished) ^_._^
I'm not voting for either, because I think that being regular - noting when the next update is, posting at said time - is what's important. As long as you stick to one or the other, and make it clear when the next installment's coming, then you ought to do whichever is easiest. :)
I try to at least stick to a schedule; plus, weekends are the only time when I have enough free time to go through an entire chapter (since I'm obsessive and won't post a first draft of anything). I guess that helps people figure out when to look out for the next chapter?
