Yay Dean, for fighting and for rescuing himself! The escape sequence was wonderfully done. And oh no, he's blind now, and John didn't even now he was gone! You've got me biting my nails with the tension here. Excellent chapter.

:) Dean doesn't strike me as one to take things lying down, so to speak. I didn't want to have a rescue...it didn't seem his "style."

*blushes* I attribute it to my magical abilities. *g* And I have gotten snuggly with the muse -- he came back last night, and I hit my nightly 1,000 word goal without a hitch. ;) Then again, I'm about 70 pages from where this chapter is...
