New Goth: Female Cuttlefish?

Feb 01, 2009 13:27

Smaller male cuttlefish will dress as female cuttlefish to sneak past the larger, brutish cuttlefish currently fighting for the female's attention. Apparently, these cross-dressing cuttlefish are preferred when the female is choosing amongst her many and varied sperm packets.

Thus, by attempting to dress rather awfully chick-y, the New Goth attempts to integrate itself in with the females. Amazingly, this seems to work. The New Goth has no geeky appeal to fall back on, and must thus rely on its ability to mimic the female in its attempts to woo.

This, of course, leads to the obvious conclusion that, should a female cuttlefish receive any sperm packets she doesn't want, they can be regifted to her sisters.
Alternatively, sperm packets are the cuttlefish's fruitcake. Hatemail that impregnates.

This has been a confusing and incomprehensible compilation of musing on the New Goth species. For more, please dial 42 on your sonic screwdriver.
