[ooc: He shook off Reeve's hand, and turned a glare so white-hot towards him it could melt steel, before thrusting his finger towards the judge's stand.]

Yer entire accusation is nothin but @#$%'n hear-say! You have no damn proof Reeve's done ANYTHIN' that yer slander'n him with!

That bitch is full of such piss it's amazing the whole damn court isn't gag'n on the stench alone! Reeve hasn't threatened a soul an I can vouch for it cause I've been with him fer the entire duration of his stay here in this shithole of a city!

((ooc: Reeve stands up slowly, sighing, then looks at the two, taking their hands for a second and squeezing before letting go. Cait drops down beside him, clinging silently to the edge of his coatHe manages a lopsided smile that fades quickly.))

[ooc: There was a look that bolted Cid's face that looked so stormy and dark he could pose as Vincent on his most vicious of transformations. Maybe it was the dragon itching inside of him, along with Reeve's easy decent into defeat. But OH damn you to hell Reeve for stoking the fires of heaven that lay within that man of the skies.))

[ooc: His knuckles had whitened as they curled around the businessman’s collar, jerking him face to gnarling face so close you could smell the dragon's sulphur on his breath.]

[ While wanting to get Reeve out of here as soon as possible, Vincent is curious about what Cid's getting so vehement about. However, before he can do anything, guards are surrounding them, and speaking in low tones.

"You are to be taken to the Waiting Chambers for the night." and nodding to Sephiroth. Vincent's looking tense, then on seeing even Sephiroth look calm, he looks at Reeve.]

Waiting Chambers. That.. means you still have a night until sunrise.

[he looks up at Sephiroth then, and then to Highwind]

.. what are you doing?!

[Giving Vincent the most confident smile he could muster it left Narcissus ashamed, he leaned in to brush past him.]

Jes trust me on this one, alright? I know whut I'm do'n!

[as the guards circled near and latched their hands unto Reeve to take him away, the pilot leapt and dive-bombed them in a violent brawl that careened another of the armored men over the aisle-ways and behind the jury-box.]

I said keep yer grubby mitts off'em!

[looking to Reeve sharply and tugging him up straight, he tapped his cheek to look towards the shady nightwalker that had made his presence known to the entire courtroom.]

This if for you, got it? You got every right to see this, so yer not go'n anywhere till we say it's over!

[Eyes widening, Vincent turned to glance over at Raito, who wasn't looking at all impressed, but quickly moved forward to put his hand on Cid's arm and holding him back]

Your attacking people isn't going to help, Highwin--

[His words trailed off at what the purple-haired man said.]

((ooc: Reeve has been watching this entire scene in a vague state of bewilderment, letting himself be manhandled without much fuss- he's already in such a state of shock that it's difficult for him to process anything else. Finally he just sits back down on the bench, resting his head in his hands and trying to drown out the incessant bickering... though he tenses to listen at the words of the newcomer.))

... Lied in their testimony... Kayura?
