i know two of the sentries in ottawa today.
one of them was in my dads unit. really nice guy. and then air force sentry was in troys first unit. i only met him a few times, but he was pretty cool. ex army, came from pet too, knew my dad.
they are doing a torch passing ceremony this year. which i think is really cool. starting with the last veteran of WWI.
a female did the last post, which is crazy awesome.
troys at the service here today. and then going drinking with the guys from the hall.
at the going down of the sun
at the fading of the sky
they shall not grow old
as we that are left behind.
