(no subject)
so yesterday was my daughters bday. it was a pretty good day all round for us. she didn't seem to enjoy it.
she loved opening the presents and eating the cake, and playing with the presents. but seemed to hate every other second of her day. and to really rub this in, she spent most of the day screaming loudly.
sari wins best presents of the day, for managing to cover all of sonnets obsessions in one package. 2 wiggles dvds (omg! new dvds for sonnet to watch over and over and over.. i'll probably know the words to all the songs with in a week) a colour me dora pillow, and strawberry shortcake lipgloss, which is safely away with all her dress up make up in my room. we gave her a bike and a helmet, and a sticker book and stickers and some dress up jewellery. and a tiara which says happy brithday. which she hated and shoved onto my head.
we did all our shopping. ended up 60 bucks under budget dispite the fact that we bought 4 serving platters and a japanese tea set and a wedding dress. thought technically, the serving platters, tea set and two boxes of pocky only cost us 16 bucks. and the wedding dress was 50. (respectively london drugs and the local liquidation place)
infact i am right now, enjoying tea in my tea set. but because its me, and yes, i am fucked in the head, i am having blue raspberry iced tea, and it is delicious! tis funny. this is the second tea set i've gotten this month. and both are pink. well, the other one is a tea for one set, and its pink and black. this one is pink, with little white flowers on it. i need to find teapots that are cheap and not pink.
i took fifty bazillion pics yesterday, and way too many videos. followed up by more vids and pics today after we went to campbell river. i'll do a separate post with pics and vids under a cut once i get them all sorted and resized etc etc
