He has some good memories of the Jericho missile despite the three months in Afghanistan. The first time the weapon has occurred to him he was travelling through Europe and Middle-East. It was summertime because the girl was wearing less than a nightshirt and his hands had free reign until she stopped him, “Wait, Tony. The fireworks are starting.”
He smoothed down her skirt and looked up at the sky. Hundreds of stars, blinking in and out in beautiful colours. He watched, drunk on whiskey and horny; thinking about the beauty of missiles and rockets. And Jericho was born.
