Barack Obama changed his mind, or is in the process of changing his mind. ^^" Which means, he is an even greater guy than I originally thought. Or he is a better politician and wants to win over the LGBT community as voters.
After repelling DADT it shouldn't be surprising. But. I am surprised. Pleasantly. (And I'm not even American or part of the LGBT community. These laws have no real meaning for me.) These things give hope that perhaps my own country and politicians and fellow voters will /can/ change their minds and use _Earth logic_ every once in a while without feeling any Schadenfreude at those, who are not equals in the eye of the Law.
