First step: Creating custom friends group(s)

1. Go to that navy line on top of your screen. Select "manage" then "friends"
2. Click on "Edit custom friends group"
3. Under the blank box of "Your custom friends groups," click "New"
4. Type in a title. E.g. "MSN buddies" or even "lilian_cho"
5. In the "Not in group" box, click the friend username(s) you want for that particular group.
6. Click the ">>" arrow to move those name(s) to the "In group" box. So it can be a group of ten, or a group of one.
7. Repeat steps 3 through 6 to make as many custom friends groups as you want.
8. Click "Save changes" when you're done.

Next step: F-locking to your custom friends group(s).

1. Select "Journal" then "Update"
(or, you can also edit previous LJ entries)
2. Under "Security:" choose "Custom..." from the dropbox. Ticky box(es) will appear underneath.
3. Tick the box(es) you want to give access to the entry.
4. Click "Save entry"
5. Now go try it out and f-lock something for me! :-D
