I have been surviving.
Work has been interesting and fairly surreal. I've made some money. I get to spend some (rent) shortly. Last night I thought I was going to either scream, cry or quit. I managed to do none of those but instead just shake for a while as I panicked. Living has also been interesting and mostly has calmed down-- it's less surreal. It isn't so weird to wake up to puppy. To see and not see Laura (based on Schedules). To drive myself home and settle in just to sleep. It's still a little bizarre to go see my parents and/or brothers but less so than it was when we first moved.
I have rediscovered a love of classical music. Mostly it just makes me happy when all the other music on the radio is stressing me out or annoying me. I get weird before work about what I do and what I listen to. I left my ipod in my parents' car when my brother stole it back. He has not returned it and I haven't gone out of my way to go get it. Maybe tonight since we'll need gas in Geno's car anyway. Maybe. With my luck he'll have taken the car far away and into some neighborhood I don't know.
I have also been enjoying greatly walks clear around the block with the dog. We've started the last 3 mornings doing it and it's wonderful. He comes home calmer and I feel productive right at the start of the day.
We need to clean. (I write it here so that Maybe I'll do it tonight when I get home for work).
And now I have to go get ready for work (have to leave in less than an hour). Wish me sanity!
