Hmmmm. While procrastinating today (although I did get most things done), I have been pondering over who to vote for in each party in the upcoming primaries. I will personally be voting in the Democratic primary, but I may or may not have influence over my sister's Republican ballot. At any rate, we agreed we'd vote primary-wise on different party ballots.

For Dem, I am thinking Obama right now. I like his message, I like his wife, I like his age, and I like that he was involved in state government. I was squarely for Bill Richardson despite completely disagreeing with his illegal immigration stance, but now it looks like he is no longer an option. I have a lingering distaste for Hillary (I think it's about time for a new political family to be in office, thanks), and while I do like Edwards, I kind of want him to go home and try again next decade.

I have NO idea on the Republicans. I disapprove of them all. I like Huckabee and his sense of humor, but I doubt anyone in my family is voting for someone who doesn't "believe" in evolution. I was such (SUCH) a McCain fan until this election cycle, but he has lost all his maverick coolness. Tragic. Mitt Romney looks like a Ken doll and seems like Bush lite, and I cannot stand anything about Rudy. If your own children hate you, it is a sign that I should not vote for you. This puts me squarely opposed to Sean, who LOVES him. Funny, because we almost always agree on candidates- I think in 2004, our ballots were almost identical. But Sean is pro-choice (which I am not), pro-gun control (which I'm not right now, this may change), and pro-death penalty (which I am not). So it makes sense we should differ sometimes.

Now I will go read and possibly watch Grey's Anatomy if it is new and wait for the storm.
