maureenjohnson.ning.com/profiles/blogs/with-26-minutes-left Ah! Only 26 minutes left to try to write this blog! Must...not...miss..a...day for BEDA.
So, I'm sitting on the floor in my bathroom, because it is the only room in my house that has a skylight. Yes, it is dark outside. I'm not here for lighting. I'm here to listen to the rain.
Rain is something I should talk about. I adore rain. Every aspect of it. The smell/feeling before it rains, the smell/refreshingness of the actual rain, and the clean, earthly feeling afterward.
I just love it.
You know how most people love waking up to see that it is a sunny day, etc, etc?
Well, not me.
Alright, I LIKE sun well enough, but if i look out my window first thing in the morning, and I see a thunderstorm, I will smile and bound out of bed.
I wonder if that makes me crazy.
Probablyyyyyy -breaks into Gnarls Barkley song-
18 minutes left to write this.
I was reading hayleyghoovers blog yesterday
and I loved the way she had a little repeating thing in all her blogs. In her case, the Sexy, Unsexy and the countdowns/countups.
I feel I need something like this, just to keep the flow.
Will think more about this later.
Is it normal that there are odd clicking sounds coming from the corner of my room?
Will ignore.
Today, I was at my Aunts house, looking through the pile of books I had given my 9 year old cousin for his birthday. I noticed the book Love That Dog, by Sharon Creech.
I quietly took the book out of the pile, and brought it home.
Yeah, I totally took back a present. But we'd also given him 20 other books, so I don't think he noticed.
Anyways, point is, I re-read the book. In about 10 minutes, I was crying all over the place.
I Love
That
Book
Apparently, she wrote a sequel called Hate That Cat. Sounds intriguing. Must check out.
Alright, this has been a long post.
I'm done for now.
See you tomorrow.
Which is in 9 minutes.
Thanks for reading, if you did.
Tomorrow, I will tell you about my plans for the future, and hopefully introduce a little repetitive countdown sort of thing.
Best wishes,
alex
