Onew-centric aka Jinki - tidbit of Sunggyu, Lee Joon, Yonghwa
G, University AU!, part of BESA comm
No choices to be blamed on.
Jinki can't explain why it needs to be done now. He has many days to do this, he knows that. Plus, out of all things that he should have been doing - this isn't in his top priority list. The planner on his wall tells him that he should meet Dr. Kim at the hospital ten o'clock in the morning, and then during lunch he has to go to a reception of someone he doesn't well-familiar with - taking thousand precious pictures, pictorials for them. Later at night, he should be focusing on his study for the exam due in few days.
Yet his mind is screaming like, 'if you don't do this now, you're going to be a loser forever!'
And it is 9.15 Am.
Sighing heavily, he trudges his feet into the elevator and goes straight to the subway across his apartment. All the while he's thinking about nothing except the gathering with all his friends under the same arts department like theater studies. But that's not all - there will be other students' major like business, computer, as well as engineering, and maybe more.
If he is a poor decision maker he would choose to attend the gathering - he isn't always wise either. He can always make an excuse as to why he isn't, couldn't come to the appointment. The doctor would probably believe him enough if he's truly sincere about it, except who would actually accept that stupid lame 'I've to attend a very important gathering' reason. Dr. Kim is the smartest person he has ever known; for sure he wouldn't go to be buying into that.
Slumps his shoulder; he leans against the wall of the train. His eyes scanning the crowd lazily - some are running into the train while others are too bored, hoping for the train to move already - an effort to chase away the crazy thoughts he had. But then, right at that time, his eyes catch someone familiar, boarding into the train with three guys behind him. Unfortunately, those four males have known him since he decides to take the photography as a major. Spinning his body around, Jinki tries to cover his body, almost unsuccessful.
"Oh, hi Jinki," A hand on his shoulder jolts him, nearly snapping his neck when he sees a warm smile of Sunggyu. The business majoring student is wearing two-toned color knitted sweater - the upper and the bottom part is creamy white match with blue in the middle.
"Wow, never see you on the train before," Yonghwa states. "You're coming to the gathering, right?" His black eyes are boring into Jinki's like two seconds before Joon tugging the accessory that hanging around the student of theater and film design's neck.
Slinging his long arm on Jinki's frame, the only non-art related student among them lets it rests on top of the other shoulder. "Why wouldn't he be? Jung Ah is going to be there, too." Minho lets a smirk, his eyes though shines excitement.
Jinki laughs half-heartedly, annoyed at the pharmacist-to-be.
They have met each other through the activity planned by their university administration two years back. Originally, they were all kind of forced to go the event, just because their department chose them to. They were stranger at first as they've been thrown into one big group and by chance, the mass of students of nearly 500 drawing them closer. They were about twenty students in each group with an equal ratio of males and females. That girl wasn't in his group though.
And out of the four, the photographer thinks he likes Joon the best. That fellow always taking care of him and thus, when he gives a glance to the bubbly male from the corner of his eyes, the said male in a white dress shirt with a loose patterned black tie immediately pushes Minho away and stands closer to Jinki. Joon has blue vest over the dress shirt.
Though the other three groans, Joon just ignores them. "I have something important to tell him," he retorts. The taller male takes the same degree as Sunggyu's.
Luckily when the train stops at the third stop, throng of people come out, leaving so many seats unattended. Grabbing the chance, Joon pulls Jinki completely from Minho's hold and plops down on the seats, dragging the photographer along.
"I have to meet Dr. Kim first," Jinki says after regulating his breath. Though they are all his friends, Jinki doesn't really tell about the scholarship offer to anyone, except Joon. He is the first to know about Jinki's grandmother and the first to accompany him to his parents' graveyard, the first one that knew he has changes from medicine to arts.
Massaging Jinki's shoulders in a subtle manner, Joon watches their friends chatting among themselves. Though he recognizes the concerned look from Yonghwa, he just smiles reassuringly to the theater design's student. "Don't worry. We'll look Jung Ah for you."
Un-amused, he nonetheless lets his body relax. Partly thankful that Joon is an expert in massaging department while another part is because the burden about the offer has lessened a bit. "This is the last chances to see everyone," Jinki barely whispers.
Once he has succeeding in the entrance exam, Dr. Kim would want him to study elsewhere, somewhere closer to the hospital as the doctor would be the one that is going to take him under his wing. And he knows for a fact that he's going to be super-duper busy when that actually comes.
He'll lose the last chance by then.
