Long time no post
I'm so bad at posting on lj, its so much easier on facebook. LOL
Lots of things are going on here. The first most obvious is that we have moved. Hubby got a job in Pittsburg, KS (home of the Pitt State Gorilla's) and I am currently looking for a job. Do no want the stay at home thing. I don't get anything done. I am in the process of waiting to hear about a possible job. Its part time/minimum wage but its better than sitting at home, and there is the possibility of full-time in the very near future.
I'm also thinking about looking into possibly getting a CMA. Which is essentially a step above a CNA and then going from there to try and decide if I want to go the nursing route. I'm just really tired of not knowing what I want to do and having a degree that I can do nothing with. Of course I also applied for another job last night, and had a call from a job recruitment place today.
I also had to text 2 of my references and ask them to call the guy on their lunch breaks because he's gone by the time they get off work. One of them was nice enough to call and let me know she did it, but I have no idea about the other. I'm hoping she did it tho. If not I'm waiting on a call back from someone else that I'm going to try and have call him instead. Its kind of a pain in the ass.
Just a reminder, Journalism degree's are pointless. LOL
I'm hoping I get this job because then we can get cable. :) The antenna's not terrible, but we have 7 channels (8 if you count the 2 channels that are the same) and most of the time if you want to watch the top 3 you lose the bottom 2. *scratcheshead*
