"The United States will stand with the international community in affirming that there will be costs for any military intervention in Ukraine".

У Клинтона "Russia wiil pay a heavy cost", то бишь: "Россия дорого заплатит", а у Обамы: "there will be costs", что, скорее, можно перевести как: "(вторжение на Украину) будет иметь издержки".
Спасибо за наводку abrod, у которого есть свои предположения, почему Обама это сказал, и почему он сказал это по-своему, иначе, чем Клинтон.
