Scratch that last entry. It was selfish of me to expect anything other than what I usually seek, which is trivial interaction. It’s better not to share feelings, especially those that do not lead to smiles and laughter. No one likes to share sadness. I don’t expect anything from anyone except inherently meaningless conversation and thin laughter.
