Cornwall has been snowed upon, and this is a major story here. It had grinded life to a hault, with hundreds of children forced to spend the night at school and motorists unable to get home, made to sleep in leisure centres and the like. After a day of wondering if someone was ever going to report exactly how much snow has fallen, I've finally found the answer.

Five inches.

I'd hate to think of what would happen if it, you know, really snowed.
