Emma Frost turned around to face the classroom as she asked, "Are there any questions?"
In the back of the classroom, sitting in a half slouch, Alec raised his hand. She looked at him, a slight frown on her face. He knew why, she couldn't get into his head. The Flowers had made sure of that one. He pleaded ignorance when asked about it. She gave a nod and he asked, "Can we go and blow stuff up now?"
He was having the most difficult time sitting still and paying attention in the class. ADHD plus fragement memories of a life already lived that constantly intruded into his every day thoughts, causing him to become confused on what was what, made it difficult to care about mutant human relations. Not that he cared anyway. It wasn't his planet and it wasn't his problem. He was only there to learn how to control his fire elemental abilities (and maybe the others, but he wasn't sure if he could do that) but to do that he had to take a full course load, like any other nineteen year old enrolled in the school. He couldn't be special or an aception to the rules.
"Am I boring you, Mr. Troven?" Frost asked, her voice as cold as her name. There were some tittering laughter in the room. She walked up to his desk and looked down at him. Alec tried to hide a grin. From his slouched position he had gotten a very nice look at her chest. Her gaze flickered down to his desk and to his notebook. She picked it up as he slapped his hands down to cover it. She gave him a self satisfied smirk and began to flip through the pages. "Apparently I am. You seem to have an infatuation with a... Kai? And a Verra... my, my. Two people. And not a single note for class."
She snapped the notebook shut. "The answer to your question then is, no. You may not go and blow stuff up. You may, however, come back after classes are done and sit a rather nice and long detention with me."
Alec repressed a groan as she walk.
