I'm really beginning to worry about my hand. It started cramping again, after a day of drawing. I'm so right-handed that if anything is wrong with it I'd be completely screwed... not to mention that I do really enjoy drawing.
I've been told I hold my pencils in a "funny way", but I'm pretty sure that the way I hold my pencil is not putting any undue stress on my hand... so I'm at a loss as to what is causing this. Couple that with the fact that it only cramps when I draw for extended periods, and not when I type/play video games/color with the mouse/etc... that is cause for concern.
It feels like a sharp tension in the center of the back of my hand. Kinda like that feeling of when a joint needs to be cracked, but is refusing to do so? It feels like a bone pain.
Due to the fact that I can't really afford a doctor on a whim, I'm asking for uninformed medical advice. Does anybody have a guess as to what this might be? Any suggestions as to what I must do?
