Dear writer ...
My username on AO3 is
bigsunglasses.
A quick guide to my tastes ...
* No AUs/crossovers
* No grimdark
* No to anything would generally be warned for, e.g. rape/major character death/incest/gore/terminal illness
* No to pregnancy loss/difficulties
* Yes to worldbuilding details, big or small (food & history are two favourite things)
* Yes to sweetness and fluff
* Yes to hurt/comfort
* Yes to loyalty and protectiveness
* Yes to happiness
* Probably vanilla smut. PWP isn't my thing: I like my smut with a dose of plot.

Onto my requests (for fanfiction) ...
Kate Daniels - Ilona Andrews
Kate Daniels/Curran Lennart
I've loved seeing their relationship develop over the course of the series - they've fought out issues of trust and communication and values, and come out as a tightly-welded couple. I'm happy with fluff, casefic (snippets of! I know it's a low-pressure exchange, don't worry), found-family fic, shopping for shoes and arguing about shoelace colour ... I think my main request is that they be happy in the story, even if it's just a "let's have a date night where we pointedly don't think about all our problems" kind of happy.
White Boots - Noel Streatfeild
Harriet Johnson/Lalla Moore
I would love to see the first blossomings of romance, whether as teenagers or as adults, and how this alters their friendship. How do their family and friends react? (Slight period-typical homophobia is ok: nothing really heavy though, please. I like stories with an upbeat vibe.) Or perhaps something set during a more established phase of their relationship - how do they work their romance around their careers, which must require a lot of travel apart from anything else? Any skating detail you want to throw in is welcome, but by no means required.
Emma - Jane Austen
Harriet Smith/Robert Martin
It would be lovely to see Harriet and her Mr Martin at any point, from first meeting to twentieth anniversary. How did the initial attraction spark? What does Robert think of her fancy friends? What's life like as a farmer's wife? It's always interested me that, despite the importance of Harriet's lovelife to the novel, we really don't know a lot about her true love.
Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens (2015)
Rey & Luke Skywalker (TFA)
That ending to TFA! #speechless I love, love, love Rey and want her to blossom into a glorious Jedi - but I doubt Luke's going to train her without a bit of a wrestle. Or is it Rey who will struggle with doubts? What's life like for them as mentor & mentee, either on or off that beautiful island? Do they become friends, or is it more hierarchical, or something in-between/else? (DNW: Rey/Luke.)
