the next few days are going to be tough ones. i take goodbyes pretty hard. i don't normally cry in front of people -- but instead i will bear it all later, when i'm alone, drifting off to sleep or looking in the mirror or driving or something. which is worse, i think. i've cried in the car twice in the past two days. so believe me when i tell you that my heart hurts to think how much i will miss you, enough probably to keep me crying until it's time to come home..
