VENDY HAS PUZZLE UP. *OMGSPAZZFLAIL*
Kicyu: OMG CUTEST SONG EVAARRR!!!!
Words: Totally wasn't what I was expecting LOL
You Can See: Wow Maru is genius for making Hina sound good LOL *smacked by Hina* and LOL at the dokkiri XDXD *falls over*
Glorious: You know once I get through this whole album imma try to figure out the lyrics LOL It does remind me of a Western boyband song. It seems though like the type of song that could appeal to non-K8 fans too 8D And OMG props for the Andy Warhol reference *__*
Half Down: Ahh interesting sound...I kinda like it :D
Making of PVs: LOL Maru sweating in anticipation XDXD LOL I LOVE HINA'S REACTION at the second attempt! And the O-type trio going "what are we going to do" LOL Subaru with his headband looks like he did as a chibi <3<3<3 And randomly, I love hearing Ohkura's insights on the group...they're always so interesting :3 Wow I loved watching the creative process of Kicyu--it's so fascinating! Those two are so talented!! The You Can See duo--you can really see their chemistry and connection huh. LOL at spitting out the drink XD And "Shin-chan" with the YOU AGAIN? LOL HAHAHAHA speeding over Hina's incessant talking!!! I love Hina's "chichai ossan" and "Kanjani8's charanporan" <3<3 Yoko is so cute too! Hina's "anoko" too gaahh <3<3<3 And why does it seem like the budgets for these PVs exceed the budget for their regular PVs? lol
Making of Album: HAHA Ohkura's trying to figure out the right way to do the heavy breathing for his solo XD Ohkura and Maru <3 Oh Eito love <3 lol I love Hina's Kansai-ben--so rough haahahah And lol at the amazingly large amounts of water Ryo gulped down ahhaahha And hey it's my OTP: Ohkura and food :D:D Because of this video though Giga Majimega Fight has grown on me a bit XD
Okay now going through the album in order:
Ichibyou Kiss: It's a very nice, energetic, and perhaps a tad band-oriented song??!! I like the infusion of the drums and trumpets <3 Something good to really pump you up but not too crazy/silly :D
Akai Shinkirou: Very Eito-like XD
Puzzle: Whoa I was expecting a kakkoii/energetic song, but this is more laidback, acoustic sounding...? I like the kind of cool, chill mood of the song. I can see why this is one of Ryo's favorites ;) YAY YASU SOLO <3<3 I'm noticing it's not just Baru in the songs--they're doing a good spread of all of the singers <3 The sorrowful sound of Maru's voice is great too <3 I'm imagining a song that's almost retro sounding--like the 60's folk ballads or something :D
Kawaita Hana: I can see why Ohkura likes this... It's interesting, right? How you can kind of sense the personalities of the guys in the songs they picked as their favorites <3 I was listening to Jason Mraz the other day and this song gives a similar feeling to me :3 Not lyrics but like the type of sound that is created :D
GoriGori: VERY band oriented song! It has a kind of punk/ska feeling at times doesn't it?? But it still retains that Eito essence, yes :D
*singing along to It's My Soul* Brings back so many memories <3 Ahh 07... <3
Rolling Coaster: This is like 70's/80's sounding isn't it? Further solidified by the synthesized voice (who was it...Ryo?) lolol
My Last Train: I love how Ohkura sounds in this <3 He's good for these types of songs huh? I'm imagining prom in the 50's slow dancing to this song LOL I'm also imagining Eito in frilly cheap looking tuxedos singing this in front of those old fashioned stand-up microphones XD
Musekinin Hero: Kimi no jinsei wa dare no mono???
Brulee: Is there going to be an awesome guitar solo during lives? *hoping* I really like this tempo as well! It's like a kind of "controlled chaos" with rapid beats and stuff, but it all fits well together. Good choice, Yasu--I like this as well <3
Saite Ikiyo: First time listening to the full version. I'm liking how a lot of their tracks utilize the band since that's definitely what I'm looking forward to! Not one of my favorite songs but not bad ;)
Giga Majimega Fight: Can totally see why Maru chose this one XD Really genki! It reminds me of kind of like an updated version of Funky Town Osaka or something. They're not exactly alike but some parts of the song remind me of it XD
Jounetsu Party: I like the melody of the chorus and stuff. It has some parts I like and parts I don't care for as much but it isn't bad :D
Wa Ha Ha: Oh happy day--I always get so happy when I hear this!!
Donnani Hanaretatte Soba ni Iru kara: I'm so glad there's a song like this in the album <3 A good wind down from the other upbeat songs in the album :3
Solos:
words: This has a kind of gospel sound to it sometimes XD Not the type of music he's been doing up until now but it's a pretty interesting song! Not my favorite Subaru solo overall though, but perhaps because Subaru always produces pretty awesome music ;)
no-no-no: Very kakkoii song. I look forward to his dancing in it, since I love to see him dance :D *starts the heavy breathing* LOL
Airairo: Totally loving this so far <3 He composed this right? I love the composition <3
One's shadow: It kinda is an updated version of Forward LOL ILU still though Hina XD
Wan Shan Ronpin: Very Maru XD I can just imagine how this will be onstage. With all of the animal sounds and stuff haahaahaha
413man: I really like it! Yoko did a really great job on this song!
Half Down: I think I mentioned this song already. Not bad!!
Overall--I'm pretty amazed at how they didn't keep the same singers for everything, how they spread out the solos pretty well. It makes me happy :D And actually I don't see too much of a variety in the music since most of them are band oriented, but then again I could just be used to Eito's music and not realize how they can cover a variety of different sounds. But I think this album is a lot stronger than KJ2 and has a lot of amazing things in it. I can totally see how Eito were a part of the creation process. Kudos to them, for sure <3
Songs that made the biggest impression on me at first listen: Brulee and Airairo. I think the main songs really do beat out the solo and unit songs this time, which is great, because we get to hear these songs performed the most live <3 Lots of band music, but also with infusions of other interesting instruments. No truly slow ballads or anything--mostly stuff to get me up and energetic. I'd say a pretty solid album. GREAT JOB EITO I'M SO PROUD <3<3<3
REQUEST: Sorry to bother you all, but my Track 12 on the part2 .rar file of Puzzle did not extract correctly. I don't know which song title it is, unfortunately. Is it possible if someone could reup it for me?? *shiny eyes* EDIT: THANK YOU SO MUCH
