To my lovely Toma...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOMA!! Now he's my age!! XD second to the last in a long line of Johnny's born in '84 (well there's about four of them, ne? So not that much ;) ) But a very special year since it's my birthyear too ;) So since it should be Sunday over in Hokkaido and Tokyo, Toma's places of birth and current residence, then I shall post this now.
What I am going to post now is a collection of my two Toma picspams previously posted on my LJ (credits still go to those same people) and some new ones I've picked up along the way. Places I've taken pictures from would be d-addicts, DramaWiki, seishun-amigo.net, TomaSite, boys_paper, and probably a couple of others. I won't include screencaps here since I have them all over my Nakatsu's Thoughts ;) Yaaay birthday picspam!!
*phew* those were a lot of pictures. And what are my favorites of the batch? I'd have to say the Bidan pose with Toma in the suit jacket, the "pin a flower" pic, the Toma/Koichi pose aaaand maybe the Diary one ;)

Okay now I'm going to talk about Toma and how I feel about him. I actually regard him similarly to how I regard his recent character Nakatsu from Hana-Kimi. I'm very protective of him. Sometimes I feel like his mom because I feel so proud of him when something good happens to him, I get upset when something bad happens to him, and I get angry if people start bashing him for no reason, like when he played Junpei in Hana Yori Dango or in his first episode as Nakatsu in Hana-Kimi. I'm glad now that he's so popular and people like him now, and I feel like a proud parent when people talk about how much they love him XD I also am amazed at how positive he can still remain after what he's gone through. He used to be one of the most popular Juniors in Johnny & Associates. He was right up there with Yamashita, expected to debut with a bang like Tackey & Tsubasa did, as the Four Tops. However, he was overlooked, and was not allowed to debut with Arashi (when he was with M.A.I.N) or with Yamashita as part of the Four Tops. He's 23 right now and before Hana-Kimi he only did stage plays and had microscopic roles in dramas. Most Johnny's artists debut by the age of 20. I even heard recently that the producer had to beg to have him as Nakatsu! He's one incredible actor, singer, dancer, MC, and overall performer. He is incredibly talented and hard working, and it's insane that he hasn't even been considered to debut, especially with his current popularity. Many fans thought that the heads had something in mind for him, but with the debut of this new group, things are looking a lot dimmer. I hope he can lead dramas and stage plays in the future, but his future as a debuted artist seems more and more uncertain. Either way I'll support him in whatever path he takes. He's being taken for granted right now and I hope that ends soon! I really respect him for being such a good sport when Arashi and NewS debuted, and still is working hard after all this time. But what if he drops out as a Johnny? If so, then hopefully he finds another company that treats him better. But considering his bonds with the other Johnny's and with Yamashita in particular, he probably won't leave.
Speaking of Tomapi, I heard this song recently that I've been really into. It's called "Dig" by Incubus. Here are the lyrics. I think this encapsulates their friendship with each other and talks about great bonds between people in general. I really like this song :)
