Hana Kimi Episode 10: Initial Reactions + other stuff;)
This episode includes my second favorite manga arc (no, not the ball), but Sano and his dad. It's too bad that Shin's not included more in this story because I really like his character, but I really appreciate that we get to see a different side of Sano and his difficult background. I mean, it makes sense why he's angry, but you can also understand his brother and father's points of view. So it gets complicated. Of course I'm a sucker for the serious plots and stuff, so that's why I like this so much;) I also like the ball and how NICE Nakatsu looked. Hot damn! I loved his hair! Made me squeal!! And such a sad ending for Nakatsu, him confessing to Mizuki (finally). Just his sad facial expressions-- well, if you've followed this series at all up to this point, then you know what I'm talking about with the faces he makes. So heartbreaking. Um what else-- Nanba and Nakao chu-- so kawaii! (I even took a cap of it when I first saw it) and NOE GOT MORE FACE TIME! Thank goodness. Except at the end he got cheated over by Sekime, but whatever. I can't wait to find out what happens with Sano and his father. It would have been cute though if it followed the manga-- like Mizuki was making sugar covered lemons to give to Sano and accidentally spills them on Sano's dad, then having a deep conversation while she cleaned his jacket. Hmm, what else. I guess that's it for this episode. I'm glad they included a couple of sweet moments between Nakatsu and Mizuki for us Nakatsu fans, but we all know where it's headed;) Maybe I'll remember more of it later. I watched the first 3/4ths, went away, then came back to watch the last 1/4, so maybe my memory's a little hazy. Nice Sano blow up, though! Just like the manga!!
Oh and I forgot to mention this, but Nakatsu visiting Umeda was funny! I loved their interaction;)

Oh and a closing thought on Girl Got Game (even though nobody else has read it)-- So the story is just like Hana Kimi, but the dynamic between the leads is like Tsukasa and Tsukushi, HYD style. No joke! And the lead guy is like a mixture of Sano and Nakatsu (he even has his own version of Nakatsu vision!!) and he's hot headed, stubborn, irrational, whatever. But so adorable! And the other guy is like Junpei, but in a good sense (if you could possibly think of him in a good way). Woohoo! It made it a joy to watch, since it was a mixture of my favorite characters. Although I suppose that would make this manga a retread, but whatever. It was enjoyable!
And congrats to Ohkura and Ryo making it to the AnAn list of top males! Quite a feat, I do say.
