I'm an old cat. Shit doesn't really get me excited, and certainly not about "life".

Good reads excite me.
Science and brains.
Being in a forest and spotting an animal or tree you've never seen before...or maybe rarely see.
Old men and crotches. Video games.
Music. Oh lovely music and playing does excite me!
Lots of otherwise meaningless things excite me. Conventionally appropriate things that are rousing...not so much. Usually.
