Back to some spazzing over jap guys :P

Since ai_no_himitsu  highly recommended it, I started watching Ninkyo Helper a few days ago (still in the process of dl-ing all the eps at the moment though ^^) and I have only watched 4 eps but I am already loving it so much, especially with so many actors/actresses that I know and like in there e.g. Yamada Yu, Mukai Osamu, Yamamoto Yusuke, Kuroki Meisa, Yabu ( Read more... )

fangirling, ninomiya, why so cute?!, news, ueda, i have million of reasons to be biased, sparks of randomness, actress!love, arashi, concert, cute guys are love, reviews, jdramas, kat-tun

i definitely agree...with your whole post! lol.

last year's countdown to me was better. maybe because i had been away from the fandom for a while and it totally resparked the fangirl in me. lol. this year, i was anticipating it, so maybe that was a little different.

plus, you're right. the group interactions were more evident. also, this year, they sang more songs that i didn't know so although the *pretty* was eye-catchy, i felt like it went back too far in JE history. lol.

although i did really enjoy the group song switch medley. that was a great idea. it was fun to see different groups sing different songs.

ninkyo helper was great! i'm glad you're enjoying it. the cast was definitely awesome and i'm expecting a lot from them this year! especially the little kid. :]

LOL YAY~!^^

I dont know but I enjoyed the 08-09 countdown more maybe I see more of Arashi, NEWS and KT. And yes, a certain part of the new countdown has too much old songs, and the whole con is a bit messy I thought, jumping from one place to another idk.
I just dl the 07-08 one as well, perhaps the rest of the countdown cons which KT is in.

Lol have you seen the kdrama "you're beautiful"though , thats a really big hit recently and my latest addiction! ^____^

yup, but it's always fun at the countdowns anyway, since it's rare to see them all together at once like that.

LOL. everyone's asking me about "you're beautiful". my little sister watched it and loved it. right now, i don't think i have time to get addicted to a korean drama. lol. maybe in a little bit, after finals and all, i might give it a shot. but i kind of already know the entire story.... xD

Yupyup^-^ bet the countdown con will be a big dream come true for the fangirls to get to see all those sparkly JE guys all gather together hehe. I knew I'd be excited to see NEWS, Arashi and KT all together! ^^

Awww but still watch it! It's basically like a korean version of Hana Kimi but with awesome songs (cause the main cast can really sing <3) I've been spazzing over it for a while already (and now it even has a tag of its own xD)

Btw thanks for explaining. You're really very knowledgable ^^
Ah so SMAP is like the main people in NHK Kohaku Utagassen, but still I heard that show is getting not so popular these days....and rumours are not always so worth believing.

oh, and if it's ok for me to reply to the question below, it's because SMAP always performs at the NHK Kohaku Utagassen.

Arashi & NYC Boys & Tokio performed there too, but they go straight to the countdown after their performance.

whereas SMAP is a major part of the Kohaku. Nakai is the main host for the male contestants/singers, and SMAP always takes part in the group singing and special presentations, as well as their own performance, so they can't leave. that's the official reason.

the "non-officlal" fan speculation is that Tokio & SMAP don't really get along (or at least certain members don't) so doing an entire JE countdown together wouldn't be a good idea. but that's just rumors. lol. who knows.

hope that answers your question!!!
