Today I dealt with:

- a system on which the XP installer would just hang (it ultimately turned out to be a floppy drive that wasn't present)
- a system on which two Linux distributions would not install because of SATA controller issues

It's been a very stupid day.

Thanks C! :D It seems to be working. I found a fix from some guy with my exact problem, and he actually got it working through a very odd process.
