Soooo... FC.
I'm thinking I'm mostly going to be offering conbadge commissions, since I really like doing those. I'm also considering doing color pinups, but I have no marker skills to speak of (nor markers, for that matter), so they would have to be done with colored pencil, which would take longer. And from what I've heard about people who've tabled, the main thing is getting something done fast but still keeping quality.
Anyway, so I digress. My main reason for posting is asking you guys about reasonable prices for the style of badges that I do. Mainly:
Standard (example) - I'm thinking... $15 highest, $10 lowest.
Floating (example) - $15-$20?
Double-sided floating (example) - $20-25?
I've found out that the thing that takes the most time with the floaty badges is the cutting out of the shapes. ;) Everything else is fine. With the double-sided floaties, it's definitely the fact that I don't have a light table that's getting to me. o_O (I need to make myself one of those...)
Anyway, I'd like 100% honest opinions - please don't sugarcoat it for me. Are the prices good enough to sell at FC? Heck, are the badges good enough to sell at FC? :P
Oh yes, and soon I will be asking for volunteers that I can draw badges for FC for. ;)
