Timeline: End of Night Mare Arc: chapter 28

Appearance: Aoko has shoulder-length brown hair and piercing blue eyes. Her face is more rounded, making her appear younger then she really is. Aoko is also canonically very small, I personally have done research on her character and appearance, I've found Aoko is very short, probably standing at about five feet even, she is also small chested and under-developed, adding to the 'she looks a little younger then what she really is'
Abilities: Aoko is an ordinary school girl, as such she does not have any powers other then maybe her mop wielding skills of doom. But that, of course, requires a mop.
Personality: Aoko Nakamori through and through is actually a very good person, she puts other peoples worries, needs, and wants above her own, as evidenced by her stepping aside to let Akako Koizumi be ski partners with her love interest, despite being jealous.
She vehemently despises the thief Kaitou Kid and cheers on her father, who is the chief inspector in charge to catching Kid. It's not said in the series but I've come to the conclusion that her father is the most important person in the world to her, right next to her best friend Kaito Kuroba.
Aoko may seem all sunshine and roses most of the time, but as they say, even a rose has it's thorns, as such; Aoko's temper is not one anyone would want to cross. when angry, she could be the scariest thing anyone's ever faced, depending on if they have a fear of mops.
Everything Aoko does; protesting Kid, cheering on her father, her attempts to beat Kaito senseless with a mop, her efforts as whole, everything is done with a fiery passion as this girl would never do anything half-heartedly.
History: Aoko is the daughter of Ginzo Nakamori, the head of the Kaitou kid task force and childhood friend and love interest of the series protagonist Kaito Kuroba. Nothing is known about the girl's mother.
Aoko met Kaito on the steps in front of a large clock tower while awaiting her father's return from work, he must have realized how lonely she was as he offered her a red rose and what would turn out to be a lifelong friendship. She goes onto complete Elementary and Middle school with him.
The series starts with her at 16 and presumably in her second year of high school. During that first chapter it shows the close relationship between the two by the 'mop chase' that ensues early on. That chase was bought on by Kaito peeking up her skirt.
During the chase she tell Kaito that not even his magic (Kaito is the son of a late but very famous magician) can compare to that of Kaito Kid, Kaito accepts this challenge and goes off to become the elusive thief himself after learning his late father was the original thief. Aoko is unaware of this.
Aoko only pops in and put of the series after this point, she's in all the arcs but not for a large amount of time unless playing the damsel in distress, a strange fact, Aoko usually unwittingly plays this role if at all. She could be viewed as a very unfortunate girl.

Aoko felt someone knock into her as everyone around was rushing into the warehouse, her hand let go of the small boy she had been watching, she was just barely able to see his small blonde head disappear into the crowd before he was swallowed up lost amongst the sea of people pouring into the building.
“M-matteo!” She called after him, pushing her way through the crowd and looking for that small child. “Kenta-kun? Please come back with Aoko-neechan.” She managed to move through the officers dressed in riot gear, not focusing on what they were saying, much more concerned with finding the seven-year-old with a head condition. “Kenta-kun!” She called again.
She made into the warehouse and noticed her father and Hakuba knelt down inspecting something, something white clasped in his hand. Whatever they were looking at was blocked as the other officers were standing in the way and she couldn’t quite see behind them. She glanced around for the child but noticed a pair of small feet over by the object being inspected.
“K-Kenta-kun?” Aoko made her way over to the spectacle and looked down at the small blonde, currently crying his pour little heart out, and she couldn’t blame him either, because the thing that the officers were surrounding, was the dead body of his father, the man he idolized. She looked at him with pity and then allowed her eyes to travel to the face of the man Jack Connery. It seemed only then did it hit her this man was dead, his eyes lifeless and staring at the ceiling. She tore her own eyes away from the body and let out a loud shriek.

Did you know? Touchan didn’t even make it back until sunrise last night, he was just getting in when I waking up and preparing my morning routine.
It’s pretty bad if he’s out this late, it’s not very good for his health, Kaitou Kid should definitely take an early retirement and do us all a favor.
