NYC Downtown Shorts Film Festival (tAB)
about support contact Dear Friend of (tAB),
Hello! We are excited to announce the first, public screening of our short film, "thinking...!" If you live in the New York area, we would love to see you there!
NYC Downtown Shorts Film Festival We are delighted to be screening "thinking..." in the upcoming 5th Annual New York City Downtown Shorts Audience Choice Screening. Our screening is scheduled for Wednesday, October 15th at 8 pm. You can click on the logo to get tickets, but please hurry because there are four films on the schedule and only 75 seats!
"The NYCDSFF began five years ago with 12 submissions. This year, over 1,000 films were submitted-so many that the Festival Committee began holding monthly Audience Choice Screenings, with the winning films earning a spot at this year's fest. Showcasing some of the best short films being produced in America and internationally, the festival's line-up includes provocative dramas, clever comedies, edgy animation, and intriguing documentaries.
Audiences watch four to five short movies each night and then along with our Film Festival committee, are given comment cards and asked to rate each film. The NYCDSFF tallies the results and the highest rated films from each screening are then invited to participate in the next NYC Downtown Short Film Festival, taking place in April, 2009."
