I think Randy really enjoys the creative freedom he gets when performing with The Skivvies. It reminds very much of his time with OHP.

Great news for Randy and for us! thank you so much for the update dear kin. I'm hoping we'll get to see a few more brilliant performances vids and pics for him. I guess it means more work for you though *g*

Provincetown is like Fire Island but on a slightly different scale, is it? I remember Brian and the gang discussing the idea of going there in early S1 when Emmet 'saw the light' and refused to join them ;)

There are museums, major differences with Fire Island Provincetown is an actual town with churches, a school, etc, etc and a year round population (much smaller off season) and hoards of day-tripper straight family vacationers and tourists who crowd the main street to shop and in the stores and go to the restaurants on the weekends. Yes the people who come for the summer and rent condos, or stay at guest houses are predominantly gay as is the entertainment at the various bars and clubs. Randy and the Skivvies are performing during Carnival Week, which is a great celebration with special events every day and a fantastic and colorful parade. Since their first show is the evening of parade day, they might be riding in the parade, since most of the entertainers who are appearing that week are featured on floats and in convertibles during the parade. Comedian Bruce Vilanch who is performing with them is a mainstay each summer at P-Town and always rides in the parade.
