Animepdx gathering. We watched an episode from Kino's Journey, Speedracer from 1966, Darkside Blues, and Azumanga Daioh. After a trip out for sushi, and great conversations in the restaurant and car, we saw the best anime of the day. Strong, wild Gainax influence on the insane Dead Leaves. R content; highly recommended. (Wish I'd remembered to bring Get Backers.)
