It's just that... the branch I used as a foothold coming up has snapped, so I can't use it going down again.

[Oh. He must've not seen that, considering he used a running start to bypass the a higher branch. Which... means... Caesar looks back down, searching out the snapped branch in question.
That is going to make getting back down a bigger problem after all.]

[He peers down out of the tree, swinging his legs a little.]

I'm going to drop from here, so let me go first.
[He swings a leg over the branch he's on, grabs it with both hands properly, and swings down. He lets go soon after that and manages to hit the ground without hurting himself. Much. He's sure he's bruised a knee, but oh well.
Caesar's back on his feet a moment later and standing under where the broken branch would have been.]
