looking back it seemed the sun was shining so brightly
an angel descended from the heavens and graced me with light
all I had ever needed was provided for
every step and every move was caressed lovingly
the world could not get any brighter
every moment was a blessing
I could not ask for more
I could not have want for anything
yet it seems I walk a dark path now
I can scarcely see where I walk
who I run into
who I might knock down and destroy
without thinking it seems
your greatest flaw
thoughtful, yet only when it pleases you
the price will be higher this time
it is not for you to determine the cost
just keep walking,
over the hill... by that dim light
the one that leads back to reality
that is the path I must take...
