Flu, paying the Man, and why I love my husband so much
So maybe it seems like i've been off doing very cool things the last couple of days, or maybe it seems that I went shopping on Monday night, got lost, and never came back...the reality is that I started to feel sick when I left work on Monday, and decided to just ditch going to the store, said I would do it on Tuesday.
Then I got sick. Wicked sick. I went to work for 9 am on Tuesday, not because I wanted to, but more because I had planned a lunch date with TJ, Cathy, and Rachel to finally celebrate my birthday. I figured since it was at 11:30 I could tough it out, then go to lunch, then go home. Nope. I called everyone and cancelled at like 10:30, I just couldn't take it.
So then I went home, and apart from doing some work at home when I wasn't sleeping, I've been sleeping pretty much all day trying to fight this flu/cold/whatever. Which means that I don't have time to shop, so yes, I paid the man like $10 to deliver my groceries. But it sure as hell beat going out.
So anyhow that's pretty much been Tuesday, and Wednesday, and today - I've watched alot of TV, and took the daytime to watch a couple of "chick flick" movies I knew Ash wouldn't want to watch - Tuesday and Wednesday (I fell asleep on Tues, had to restart on Wed) I watched The Wedding Date, and today I watched Alot Like Love. I liked them both, but i'm pretty easy to please with fluffy movies like that. I also watched The Prince and Me (yes, I like that movie :P) and Twenty Bucks today too, and an episode of Maury called "I was a nerd and now I'm hot" or some other nonsense. Productive sick TV surfer, thy name is Kinsara.
So that brings everyone up to speed and me up to the last part of my title, "why I love my husband so much". I had asked him to stop at the store yesterday to get 2 items that peapod didn't carry. Which he did. Then he got home, and Peapod delivered, but one item (fresh sage) was out of stock, so I asked him to stop at the store again today. Which is pretty much enough to put him on my "why I love him so much" list, but today when he came home he brought me roses. :-D Which just illustrates all the more WHY I LOVE HIM SO MUCH. razorberry, I love you with all my heart!! I've put some pics of them (taken with my crappy camera phone since our digital batteries are dead and I keep forgetting to recharge them) after this cut. And PS. and by the way, everyone should check out my husband's technical (it's nerdy flash stuff) blog here and if you're so inclined, check out the google ads if you need any nerdy computer stuff, since he'll get like 5 cents and maybe when we're about to retire he'll have the $100 in his account he needs to get a check sent to him :P
