in short story we talked about how polo ralph lauren is an idealized version of new england establishmentarianism which represents english domination of the world which is why polo makes us feel all fuzzy and wannabe connecticut inside.
so then, during the philosophy block, harpres says, "who at roeper do you think would shoot up the school?" zack l. and me simultaneously, "me!" harper: "nick, your not going to shoot up ANYTHING in THAT sweater..." zack celebrates, "oooh yeah, black leather trench coat!"

alas i was reminded of the good ole days when simone and i wanted to live inside a j crew catalogue
practice was really cold.
my dad makes me feel angsty even tho he's trying to be a good parent and help me do my homework (which, as it turns out, i did wrong)
so today i got nominated by annette to the "Awareness 101" course-creation committee.
im thinking i should definately take up polo.
