So this weekend was great and fun was had and I got sloshed (OH YES), but what really matters is THERE WILL BE A GREENWOOD TV DRAMA IN JULY. OH MY HEART. <3 <3 <3
Denver peeps: Tuesday, Lauren and I are going to try to hit the screening of Death Note at Belmar. The only show is at 7:30pm. (It's also showing Wednesday night at a few theaters if you wanna see it but are busy Tuesday.) No prior knowledge of the series is necessary; this is a live-action movie and it stands well on its own (Light is a somewhat different sort of antihero than the manga, and this is the only version of Death Note where I've really liked L), so come see what all the controversy is about.
And it has Chairman Kaga (Iron Chef) as Light's dad, and if that doesn't make you giggle then you have no soul.
