You must come over and meet Shelly! I got her as an apology gift for Lionel, and she's so cute. Lionel's been going around calling me 'mum' in front of her, it's really sweet.

I hope your New Years is starting off well. I started mine with Amos, which is really fun. His mother is so sweet! Did you know she worked with Runes in the Ministry?! She gave me a bunch of her old books! They're fascinating!
What have you been up to? Met anyone to fancy? When we get back to Hogwarts, I know this really nice sixth year Gryffindor you may like. I'll point him out and I can introduce you, if you're interested.
