I think we're having dinner around 4:30 or 5. I'm in charge of the sweet potatoes, which I gotta get started on soon. :) Thankfully, it's an easy recipe, just takes time for the potatoes to bake.
Hee! I think of you every time I see Eiffel Towers too! Did you see the adorable blank notebooks that Michael's has now? There's one for Paris, New York, London, Rome, San Francisco and others with just patterns. They have a magnetic closure on them. I got one with the Eiffel Tower before to use as a journal and plan on getting a few more this weekend.
I decided not to cook b/c I was supposed to work today but my gig fell through so I have the entire day to myself for a change. \o/
There's an old, famous Atlanta restaurant right down the street from me so I'm going there in a little while. They have DELICIOUS food so it's going to be hard to choose what to eat.
:D I was on my way to Michael's the other day but traffic was bad so I bailed. I'll go over the weekend, with coupons of course. I'll have to look for those... I know I've seen them at other stores and I think I own something similar already.
Yesterday I was looking at a metal ET online for a local store priced at $24.99. I bought one just like it mos ago at a yard sale for $2. Score!! :D
Moose is staying home, so he probably won't get any turkey, but I'll probably give him a can of cat food instead of just dry. He only gets the canned stuff once in a while as a treat.
My one sister LOVES cooking, especially big meals, so we usually go to her house for holiday meals. She just lives a few houses from my house, so it's not hard. lol
I've been in Michael's almost every week. I started knitting about a year ago and between there and Jo Ann's, I'm living in those stores buying yarn. *g* Did you ever look at the wooden models they have? They have, or at least had, a large and a small ET in them. My mom got me the big one, and I got myself the small one. I still have to do them yet. Don't really have any place to display them yet so they're waiting.
YAY for yard sales! lol It's awesome when you can get deals like that. :D
Moose will probably get some turkey from leftovers tomorrow. lol He always gets his treats.
LOL Oh, right now, that icon is TOTALLY me! I used to just work with yarn for plastic canvas so I couldn't use a lot of the pretty yarns out there, so now I'm glad to have something I can use all those soft, pretty, glittery yarns.
I'll have to make sure to post a picture of the wooden ETs when I finally get them done. I'd like to display them on the same shelf with my 3d puzzle, erector set, and knife ones, but I gotta do some rearranging first. :P
I don't even know the last time I was at a yard sale. When I was younger, we'd stop at ones we passed as we were going other places, but now... I figure I have enough of my own junk. lol
That icon is from toocuteicons. Ooo, glittery yarn sounds pretty.
Do you like the fleur di lis symbol as well? I have quite a bit of stuff with it too. I hit a new french themed store yest, En Paris. They had some nice things but sky high prices!! I have a lot of similar items, many I got at yard sales for next to nothing. \o/ In the past 1.5 yrs I've adopted the 11th commandment - "thou shall not pay retail". ;D
You should sell your "junk" - have your own yard sale and/or put it on Craigslist and turn your trash into cash. :D
Hope you enjoy your Thanksgiving. *hugs* ♥

I don't like to cook, plus my kitchen has no counter space which makes it even more challenging.
I think this icon has your name all over it. :D
