Kinnara discovered that Therav actually was quick, and light on his feet, and fond of low stances, and for obvious reasons that shouldn't surprise her, avoided getting his head too close where possible.
She dropped her blade from her left hand. She thought quickly and moved in close. She grabbed his left antenna (firmly but not ungently) and her foot went right behind his knee, and she sent her commanding officer tripping backwards to land squarely on his ass. He winced as his blades clattered to the ground.
"I believe that was against the rules," he said, but Kinnara would note that his antennae curled forward, rather than being held erect. His eyes crinkled up at the corners.
He rubbed his antenna, scowled, and got back up. He bowed from the shoulders.
At that moment, a voice came over the holodeck's intercom - "Mr. Shan and Mr. Klasq, please report to Conference Room A... come as you are. Sevel out."
"Thank you for the worthwhile challenge," Therav said to Kinnara as they both headed out.
