ELF Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder (Studio Line) Review

Aug 18, 2009 21:46

Since I happened to be posting a review on ELF while browsing their new Studio Line Products, thought I'll paste a copy of my review here too.

Product Reviewed: ELF Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder
Pros : Easy To Apply, Long-Lasting, Highly Pigmented
Cons : Unnatural Color, Goes On Heavy (contour side)
Best Uses : All Skin Types
Describe Yourself : Budget Buyer

I like the blush side on days when I want my makeup to be more obvious (nighttime or photoshoots). It's a nice healthy peachy shade, more than pink. The bronzer however is too dark for me, even as a contouring powder at my lower chins to sharpen my jawline, and on the sides of my nosebridge. It's really hard to blend it out, when I tend to apply too much. (For reference, I am a pretty fair chinese asian - about NC15? After my recent suntan, I think I'm a couple of shades darker, maybe I should give it a go again.) But the packaging does look professional and the mirror is convenient too.
