I wish I could do that, then pull a runaway-from-home over the weekend, but she's the type that will rage, scream, cry, throw a psychotic tantrum attack then confiscate my passport, OR throw me out...

she can't stop me from going out, but she can stop me from coming back in. and give me a shitload of trouble, as i still have to come back and get all my things, in order to go to work on monday morning. so unless i take all, and I mean ALL, my life's luggage with me...

I think she'll rage and scream but not throw you out... Parents tend to do that. You should always keep your own passport. ^^

she has a bad habit of digging through all my things. if i lock my drawers, she'll demand the key, and ask why i need to lock. so even if i 'keep', she can still take my passport away anytime.
