(no subject)
Ha ha, stomping party on saturday. First off thanks to Jo for originally suggesting the idea of a halloween party, thanks to Graeme for having a birthday that coincides with it : ). Thanks to Aly for promoting it and arranging many needed things. Thanks to ben for his PA system and to George and Chantelle(M) for doing the buisness with the music. Thanks also must go to the Corpse bride, who apart from being famous and usually hanging out with the likes of Jonney Depp and Mr Burton, decided to put in an appearance too.Thanks also to Vix for travelling down for the weekend and gracing us with her presence, and to Neil for not only driving people across the country to be here but for also helping with much sorting of things so the party could occur. But thanks must go the most to Abi for coming down from canterbury so i could spend time with her (not that i'm biased or anything ; p)
Much dressing up, and it was so cool that sooo many people actually made the effort and dressed up for it. I did not see everybodies costumes but i have to admit i did have some favourites, i won't list all of them lest i incur the wrath of the spurned : ) But my costume winner of the day has to go to Adam, who came as Tetsuo from Akira, it was just awsome, and as Ben and i discovered, partially edible too ha ha. Much to Adam's screams of 'Dude it took me hours!!!!!!' er yeah sorry bout that.
Overall the weekend was very cool, but others have already reported much of the goings on of fri and sat so i will refrain from repeating it all again. Though i will say Sat started nicley with Jo, Neil and myself meeting up with Phil and Paul ending up in pub and pool fun. Then straight into getting ready and party. The night progressed well with a fairly steady stream of weird and wonderful people appearing at the door throughout the night and slowly but surely filling the house up. There was only one moment when a large penis appeared in the guise of a man, that anything untoward seemed likely to occur, but alas, he wasn't as big as he thought and nothing came of it. Take that, in any way you want too : )
Thanks to everyone who came and made it what it was. My apologies to those i did not see that much through the night. Abi and I headed off out to the depths of the New Forest about half twelve, so i could do my best not to make her parents bathroom blue and then get a goodnights sleep.
