And things just insist on going downhill some more...

*sigh* Well, yesterday the car issues got compounded again... the van's transmission finally died. Thank God it was just down the street from my house... not Newport, or near UC Clermont... but still. It's dead, so now I have to drive the Marquis. I was so depressed yesterday... I wanted to just sit around and cry. Stuff sucks right now, for the most part. I still don't have a full-time job for the summer, and the summer's quickly coming to an end. I have under $200 to my name, which really doesn't help me either. Eh.

Last night I hung out with Alice to get my mind off of things and visit. We talked for a while, then went to Meijer, then Steak n Shake, then to CVS and back to her house. We watched a little anime while I drank my cheap vodka and limeade (not so good... stick with the Hard Lime instead) and rum and Pepsi (much better, but still didn't drink too much). Finally headed home just before 5, and went to bed a little before 6. Good times.

I had my Forensics final on Tuesday night, which went really well... another 100. Finally! So I should definitely have an A in that class. Whew.

Friday night I went to see the Bourne Supremacy with Shawn, Kevin, and my sister. The movie was good, though some of the camera work was a little distracting. Overall though, it wasn't a problem.

Saturday night I got to hang out with some of my good friends from high school... Sonja, Lynda, and Brandy. I hadn't seen Lynda or Brandy for about two years, so it was really nice to see everyone and catch up. We had dinner at Applebees (where Lynda's boyfriend Mark was a jackass), then Sonja, Lynda, Brandy, Cameron (Brandy's one-year-old son), and I headed to Brandy's apartment and watched School of Rock. That movie was funny as hell. :-) Sonja left shortly after the movie, but the rest of us hung around talking until about 4:30 or so. It was awesome to see everyone, and we're planning to hang out again on Friday. I'm looking forward to that.

Sonja called me up on Tuesday to see if I wanted to have lunch, so we went to Hooters for cheese fries. That was nice... good food and good conversation. Hehe. Always nice... and helpful in current times.

Well, time to go get Anna and start to get ready for work. Yay.
