Considering I had no real known plans this morning, I ended up having a good time. I worked 9:30-5, which kinda sucked, since practically everyone who came up to the desk had a problem and was cranky about it. Then I went downstairs at 5 and Charlie's standing around down there. We had planned to go see the Last Samurai with Kevin, so I guess he decided then would be a good time to stop in to work. So we drove down to Newport and met up with Kevin and his friend Nate in Gameworks, then went and grabbed dinner at Johnny Rocket's. The movie was good, in my opinion... not much else I can say about it right now.
After the movie, we kinda stood around between elevators in the parking garage, trying to figure out what to do next, if anything. Finally we decided that we'd go back to Charlie's and do something... whatever it would be. So we convoyed Kevin there, since he's a westsider and doesn't know how to get over there, and we ended up playing Risk. I hadn't played Risk since I was maybe 10, so I had no idea what I was doing. Oops. Luckily for me Charlie got spread a little thin by hostilities around him and decided to help me out as a bit of a diversion. With his help I killed Kevin's force, whittled Nate's force down so Charlie could finish him off, and ended up with about half the world. At that point we came to a peace agreement and finished the game. The whole game though we had mutually undefended borders... if either one of us had wanted to, we seriously could have fucked each other up. Hehe. But it was fun, and something different. So I got back home around 1. It was good to hang out with everyone though, especially since Charlie's leaving again on Friday and won't be back until March or April... most likely April. :-\ Oh well, at least we've been talking a lot since he's been back and we've gotten to play a lot of multiplayer Neverwinter. Good times.
