this morning at the bus stop...

A woman walked to the bus stop occupied by a young woman... they were chatting in a language I couldn't understand, when all of the sudden a paper flew out of the old woman's hands and she fumbled to grab it. After chasing the paper for about a min it flew my way and I snatched it and handed it back to the woman, with a accomplished look in my eye. Then the woman said to me, 'Thank you so much sweet girl.. you've saved my life. Bless you child. You've saved my life.' I just looked at her with a 'it was nothing' look in my eye as I said, "You're welcome." She then said again... 'You've saved my life!' The young woman examined the paper and quickly put it in a folder so it would not blow away again. Then the young woman said what I assumed to be goodbye to the older woman and walked away. The old woman chatted with me about the weather for a min then walked off... she never got on a bus... just walked off. I too parted for work since the bus looked as if it weren't coming anytime soon. But I can't help but wonder what was that paper all about??? The woman was as serious as can be about it being that important.
