Cinema upgrades..
A group of us went to see Serenity last night, if you are one of the people who did not see it before release or pounced it yesterday, go see it! No, really!
Loved the film but the experienced was marred a little by a couple of factors, which I will hide behind an LJ cut as I'm only half awake and while I'll try not to spoil anything I may phrase something wrong and people may get spoilerage from reading between the lines. So if you haven't seen it either don't read on or just try not to read too much into what I'm about to say.
Cinemas need to be fitted with gun turrets, people who leave a screen talking about spoilers should be shot through the head, end of story. I almost punched the guy who was walking out past the gate talking loudly with his friend about a major plot bit as I was at the gate getting my ticket torn. That was a whole realm of inconsiderate..
Also, if you're going to release a soundtrack before your film please don't name tracks after scene names. Paul spotted one of the track names as he loves the music in Firefly and from his reaction I guessed roughly the scene name he was talking about.
So yes, due to muppetry a couple of bits of the films had a bit less impact, and for those of you who have seen it you can probably guess which bits and why this annoyed me so.
